Origins

The Bindibu tribe has a history stretching back thousands of years. As part of the Australian aboriginal groups, they are one of the most ancient cultures in the world. They originally inhabited Southern, Western, and Northern Australia.

For millennia, this tribed have inhabited desert environments. They deem land as sacred. Dreamtime stories of how they believe land and creation was formed is a cultural jewel while also being a useful dessert survival guide.

Family is the most important aspect of this society. They have extended families living together, and each member of the family have their own responsibolity. The elder members are the most respected and are known to cherish and pass down the traditions of the culture to the next generations. From a young age, children are taught the traditions of the culture and survival skills. 

Beliefs

Dreamtime is Bindibu's belief system, which is a compilation of stories that are used to explain the world's creation. They also use this as moral guidance and help in practical knowledge for living.  Song, painting, and dancing are components in their rituals. 

Marriage

Marriage is usually orchestrated by the older members of the society. These elders prioritize social and family ties. Community relationships are strengthened through marriage in this society. Some practice polygamy. Wedding ceremonies involve the entire community and are greatly celebrated.

Conclusion

As a people of thousands of years, the Bindibu people have a very historically rich culture with ancient traditions. Their community offer insight onto how communities adapt through varying times and environments.
